Last week Mar Vista Patch highlighted the amazing life story of Doris Gilbert and the incredible work she is doing to help raise awareness and funds for those suffering from Diabetes.

Doris was part of a 200-strong contingent from the American Diabetes Association’s Call to Congress in Washington from March 9-11.

Congratulations to Doris and the rest of the ADA’s Call to Congress participants.
